If you checked out my last post, you discovered what spiral learning is and its significance for a kindergarten teacher. Now, let me share some of my favorite Spiral Learning Activities for Kindergarten.

As you may know, spiral learning involves the ongoing review and practice of previously acquired academic skills. This approach is crucial for young learners as it reinforces the foundational skills necessary for their continued academic growth and success.

This method is primarily incorporated into small group sessions (such as Alphabet Tactile Tracing) and various station or center activities. However, you can also integrate these into your daily morning bins, quick finishers’ tasks, or even your substitute teacher packet. (Substitute Teacher Activities for Kindergarten)

Here are some of my favorite activities that I consistently provide for my young learners to practice. Giving them the freedom to choose the activities they enjoy and wish to work on is essential for station work and continues to provide meaningful practice of essential academic skills.
