Description
Labeling is an important skill for beginning writers! Before Little Learners can begin writing sentences, labeling needs to be explicitly taught, modeled, and then students need to be given multiple opportunities to purposefully practice this skill. In this Label a Picture | Beginning Labeling for Little Writers | Kindergarten Writing activity, I have included 2 different versions for your students to use. One option is to cut/glue the included labels and the second option is the blank write-in labeling. This is perfect for beginning sound, beginning and ending sound or phonetically spelling out the word.
