Welcome to Kindergarten Chaos, where real classroom experience meets practical teaching ideas that actually work with little learners. If you are looking for hands-on kindergarten activities, classroom management strategies, engaging resources, and teacher-tested ideas, you’re in the right place!
As part of my 31 Days of Kindergarten series, I want to share more about the heart behind Kindergarten Chaos and why I create the resources, strategies, and ideas that teachers use every day in their classrooms.

20+ Years of Real Classroom Experience
Hi, I’m Abbie!
With more than 20 years in education, I bring real classroom experience to everything I create and share. I’m a national professional development speaker, instructional coach, former kindergarten teacher, educational consultant, and teacher influencer who is passionate about helping educators make learning meaningful, engaging, and manageable.
I know what it feels like to walk into a kindergarten classroom full of excited little learners, endless questions, big emotions, and a million things happening at once. Kindergarten is magical, but it can also feel overwhelming.
That’s why my goal has always been to create ideas that make teaching easier while still giving students the meaningful learning experiences they deserve.
Why I Created Kindergarten Chaos
I started Kindergarten Chaos because I wanted teachers to see that teaching little learners can be intentional, purposeful, and fun.
When I was teaching kindergarten, I often found myself searching for resources that matched the needs of my classroom. Many activities looked great on paper but didn’t always work with real five-year-olds.
They weren’t always hands-on enough.
They weren’t always engaging enough.
They weren’t always designed for the busy reality of a kindergarten classroom.
So, I started creating my own.
Every resource, activity, and teaching strategy you find here has been created with real kindergarten students in mind. Many of them were tested with my own little learners first before being shared with other teachers. (TPT or KC Store)

Helping Teachers Make Kindergarten Meaningful
The best kindergarten learning happens when students are actively involved. They need opportunities to move, talk, create, explore, and practice skills in meaningful ways.
Whether it’s building literacy skills through hands-on activities, developing independence through classroom routines, or creating engaging math experiences, every idea shared through Kindergarten Chaos is designed with little learners in mind.
My goal is simple:
Help teachers spend less time searching and prepping and more time enjoying the moments that make kindergarten special.
