Father’s Day might fall during your school’s summer break or towards the end of the academic year. Regardless of the timing, here are some enjoyable and interactive activities for your little learners to celebrate the special VIP in their lives.
Fathers Day VIP Craft Activities
I have offered Mother’s Day/VIP projects and cards, but I have never provided Father’s Day/VIP materials since we usually aren’t in school during June. However, in response to numerous requests, I have developed a bundle of Father’s Day VIP craft activities. Whether you are currently in school, teaching summer classes, or an adult looking to express creativity for Father’s Day or to honor a special VIP, this resource is perfect for you!

You can have your little learners engage in these activities before they head off for summer break. Alternatively, you can print a copy for them to take home to their grownups. In either scenario, your students will be able to express their love and gratitude to the VIP in their lives for Father’s Day.
- Create a handmade card: Kindergarteners can make a special Father’s Day card using colored paper, stickers, markers, and their imagination. They can write a heartfelt message or draw a picture for their VIP.
- DIY photo frame: Kids can decorate a simple photo frame with paint, stickers, or glitter. They can choose a favorite photo of themselves with theirVIP to put in the frame as a personalized gift.
- Handprint or footprint art: Using washable paint, your little learners can make handprint or footprint art on paper or a canvas. They can turn these prints into creative designs like animals, trees, or even a heart to show their love for their VIP.
- Coupon book: You can help your students create a coupon book filled with special things they can do for their VIP, such as a hug, a chore-free day, or a fun activity together.
- Storytime: Have your kindergartners write a short story about why they love their VIP. They can illustrate the story with drawings to make it a personalized keepsake.
These activities are not only enjoyable for kindergarteners but also provide a meaningful way for them to express their love and appreciation for their VIPs on this special day.
