The end of the school year is such an exciting time. Have you started a count down yet? Summer break is almost upon us which means enjoying a few days of relaxation and sun, then off to plan for the next year, right? For kids it means not having to worry about school for a few months. That is exciting.

If you’re like me, you are always looking for a reason to do something fun and creative in the classroom. The end of the year is full of reasons to do fun and creative things and here are some of my favorites.
One of my favorite ideas for the end of the year is to do a countdown to summer break and essential becoming first graders. It is exciting for the kids and me! This year our countdown is inspired by the movie UP! How fun is this?
