Teacher Must Haves For The Classroom
Classroom Library
We all know how important classroom libraries are. Here are my favorite ideas and my must haves for my classroom. I also have tips for how I organize my classroom library here.
Playdough Station
Playdough is a fantastic tool for teaching so much, plus it is a great sensory activity as well. You can read how I use playdough in the classroom here.
Sensory Station
Sensory is a fantastic way to help teach literacy as well as math or other concepts. You can see how I use sensory in my classroom here.
Anchor Charts
I live by these. They are a fantastic way to help teach different skills and concepts and I could not do without them! You can see all of my favorite Anchor Chart Ideas HERE!

Pocket Charts
Do you use pocket charts? They are fantastic for practicing sentence structure as well as other literacy concepts. You can read all about what I do here.
Computer Station
As much as the world is anti-screen time for kids, I find many benefits of using technology in the classroom. It is important for students to not only learn how to use technology but apps and programs are helpful in teaching students concepts! Here is how my computer station is set up.
Mouse pads are a must but I like this one because it is aluminum not foam that will be destroyed quickly.
Computer chairs are crucial. These are awesome because they have removable & washable covers!
Guided Reading Station
Organizing guided reading material is so important for not only my sanity but also for helping my students know what to do and where to go.
Classroom Reveal
One thing I love is seeing other teacher’s classrooms! Classroom reveals are SO FUN, don’t you think? Here is mine from a few years back. Although I’ve made a few changes, these pictures show what has really worked for me for years! I’m sharing my favorites so you can have the same success for me!
