Sequencing is one of those academic skills that is fundamental to kindergarten students. As educators, we must find and implement intentional, purposeful, and engaging sequencing activities to teach and reinforce this skill.

Since sequencing is a step for logic development, using many different activities in the kindergarten classroom is a must. What came first, middle and last is questions that must be answered with sequencing.

Number Puzzles

Ordering numbers is a sequencing activity that is easily implemented for little learners. These number puzzles are an excellent way for this skill to be instructed and reinforced. Not only is this a perfect math station activity, but can be whole group, small group, independant and take home activity.
