Times have definitely changed. Teachers are no longer teaching from classrooms and students are learning at home, with parents orchestrating to the best of their abilities.
There seems to be two different camps that families are currently in. One family has embraced distance learning and is just trudging through with the help and guidance of their teachers. The other camp is frustrated and ready to give it all up!! LOL! I know the feeling…I have two kids of my own that are doing distance learning and it is not easy!!
As a kindergarten teacher AND parent, I have been doing my best to gather resources that my students and their families can access and use. But I also know that there are a plethora of teachers and families out there that could benefit from this extra information and resources that I have found and shared.
In trying to do my part to help, I have put together a list of School At Home Activities for kids. Plus, I joined together with some awesome teachers to create a pack of resources that are TOTALLY FREE and available to download ASAP!! So if you are a teacher or parent, please feel free to browse through these ideas and implement them for your student(s)! Happy virtual/at-home teaching!

These activities for kids are perfect for at home school. They are fun for the kids but will also hit many of the standards that they were working on in school.
These ideas are also perfect for parents, as they are simple to prep and easy for parents to walk their kids through. Win Win! This is the perfect list to send to parents. You can send the link to this post or we’ve included a printable PDF below.
