Times have definitely changed. Teachers are no longer teaching from classrooms and students are learning at home, with parents orchestrating to the best of their abilities.
There seems to be two different camps that families are currently in. One family has embraced distance learning and is just trudging through with the help and guidance of their teachers. The other camp is frustrated and ready to give it all up!! LOL! I know the feeling…I have two kids of my own that are doing distance learning and it is not easy!!
As a kindergarten teacher AND parent, I have been doing my best to gather resources that my students and their families can access and use. But I also know that there are a plethora of teachers and families out there that could benefit from this extra information and resources that I have found and shared.
In trying to do my part to help, I have put together a list of School At Home Activities for kids. Plus, I joined together with some awesome teachers to create a pack of resources that are TOTALLY FREE and available to download ASAP!! So if you are a teacher or parent, please feel free to browse through these ideas and implement them for your student(s)! Happy virtual/at-home teaching!

This is a great list for any homeschooler, mother or teacher. I have been playing the sight word swat game with kids for over 5 years and they absolutely love it. The word family garden idea is brilliant. I cannot wait to do this with my little ones. Thank you for sharing this.
I am a teacher and a parent too. I really appreciate the school at home activities you have shared. My kids will surely continue to love learning with these amazing activities. Thank you.
