For those of you who have used my previous monthly bundles, you know how much fun they can be while still meeting kindergarten academic standards. These activities are not only simple to prepare, but also easily integrated into your class schedule. Standards:

K.CC.A.1  Count to 100 by ones and by tens.

K.CC.A.3  Write numbers from 0 to 20. Represent a number of objects with a written numeral 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects).

K.CC.B.4c  Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.

K.OA.A.1  Represent addition and subtraction with objects, fingers, mental images, drawings, sounds (e.g., claps), acting out situations, verbal explanations, expressions, or equations.

K.OA.A.5  Fluently add and subtract within 5.

RF.K.2d  Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words. (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.)

RF.K.3  Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words.

RF.K.3b  Associate the long and short sounds with common spellings (graphemes) for the five major vowels.
